Working creatively is something that bring me peace but I can’t afford to live on that alone. It has taken me a while to feel confident to define and uphold my boundaries in regards to art, money and lifestyle - and I’ve complied a list of the most helpful books, podcasts, videos & websites that I’ve stumbled across in trying to figure that out.

I’ve split the recommendations into three categories; Creative Philosophy, Money Making & Peace. Creative Philosophy is the feel good stuff, the place that makes you feel like your ideal life is not only possible but achievable. Money Making is where to find the skills to negotiate, pricing and how to ask for the things you need. Now, Peace, is my very biased collection of the skills and tools that have helped me find some assemblance of peace in this chaotic world. (Just a note - The Body Keeps Score was life changing but can be incredibly unsettling and hard to read)

Just a note: I’ve borrowed majority of the books recommended from local libraries and if I haven’t found them in local catalogs I’ve located them on online libraries. If you are a student; definitely check out your high school or university library collection.
